Ashley, I think you understand what a low key image is, you have definitely succeeded in creating a mysterious mood. But I'd like to see more information in your subject. Perhaps if the person were to step back closer to the lights in the back ground so you caught more light on the side of the body to give the figure a lighter out line against the black back ground a rim light effect.
Your high key image is too dark and not really high key, choose a light background, find soft available light...
