Megan, Your high key image is great, bright beautiful perfect! even with your hard main light. Your next challenge may just be composition eg separating the ear rings from the necklace. Also try a combination of hard and soft light. You have done well, jewelry is a hard subject to shoot, but lends itself to high key well. Your low key is a fine image as well and I think I like it as an image even better than your high key. However its not quite low key yet, the background needs to be darker. Either add a light to the foreground and shut down in exposure on the background or chose a different background, or burn in the background in the print. You are very close and I like the mood you have captured with the dark shapes if they were darker I think it would even better...
