Awesome low key image Xiali. By using a side and slight under lit lighting on the subject you have created and very dramatic feel. Your background light works well to separate subject from the background and emphasize the dark shadows on the subject. If the background light was a little darker 1/2 stop I think it could add to this picture even more... Your high key is a good try but seems flat and even fogged, not quite a high key. Architecture dose not lend itself to high key well and is difficult to achieve even when you have waited for the right light. To simplify things look for a white house on a cloudy day. But I'd like to see you shoot a high key portrait with the same mastery you shown in your low key image.
